July 2016 Adopt-a-Reef
An army tank on the Ocean City Reef was adopted in memory of Curtis O. McDaniel, Jr. Sponsored by James, Pamela & Haley Bowen - "Always in our hearts". This memorial is located near an earlier Adopt-a-Reef done in 2003, by the family, of 38 concrete castings in memory of his son, Shawn McDaniel. The concrete castings are known as "Shawn's Lobster House". The family looks forward to fishing the site on regular basis with hopes of a world record flounder being caught by a family member. We can only hope!
